Born on March 05, 1968 in Montréal, Québec to Italian immigrants who came to Canada in the 1950s from Supino, Italy.
Grew up in the east end neighbourhood of Mercier in Montreal. In 1985 graduated from Loyola High School.
Later attended and completed a certificate at Champlain Regional College (Cegep)in St. Lambert Qc.
In 1991 graduated from Concordia University with a bachelor of arts degree in economics.
After a brief stint as labourer with the City of Montreal embarked on a career in the financial services industry. Began work as an advisor for a life insurance brokerage firm in Westmount Qc.
In 1996 moved to Toronto to start work with Invesco Canada, where I remained until 2003. For the majority of the years there I worked as an inside sales representative, servicing mainly the Quebec market
In 2003, pursued a dream of owning a small inn and restaurant. Moved the family to Gambo, Newfoundland and began work on Freshwater Inn and Bistro. The restaurant portion of the business was opened in August of 2003 and the inn opened in June the following year.
Although it was a small establishment in a fairly remote part of the island the inn saw guests from all over the world.
In 2005 my son Samuel Alberto was born
In 2006, Freshwater Inn was sold and a move to Gander was made. In December of that year, Bistro on Roe was opened. The restaurant serving up French and Italian dishes soon became a hit in the town and surrounding area. For several years in a row the restaurant received the award of excellence from TripAdvisor.
